Wonderful stay at Garden Cottage. Ideally located for both local amenities and the station to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling. Everything you could possibly expect in a holiday let was provided.

Garden cottage is located on the edge of Linlithgow so an easy walk into town, visiting the Palace grounds, canal walk, and railway station. It was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. We would certainly stay in Garden cottage again.

Very comfortable cottage with everything you could need though we would probably find the steps up a bit tricky in a few years' time. Perfect location within 15 minutes' walk of the station and then an easy journey into Edinburgh or Glasgow, or to Falkirk for the Wheel and the Kelpies. Linlithgow itself is very interesting and has some great cafes - we hope to be back to try some of the others before too long!

Lovely comfortable cottage in a great location. Plenty to do in Linlithgow with Falkirk and Bo'ness only short drives away. 20 minutes into Edinburgh by train and no problems with parking.

A beautiful, well-equipped cottage, in a central spot of the friendly medieval town of Linlithgow. Bed sleeps very well (above expectation). We really enjoyed our stay.

This amazing holiday cottage offers supreme comfort in a most distinguished and ingenious stable conversion that affords from the upstairs living room fine views of Linlithgow Place cleverly framed by greenery. It is well placed to access all the amenities and attractions of Linlithgow, as well as the wider area thanks to the town's very good road and rail links; and the hosts have spared no effort in thinking of every detail to enhance their guests' stay, fitting an exceptionally comprehensive set of equipment into the available space - including the compact kitchen area (we were a little hesitant in advance about how easy it would be to cook substantial meals without a full oven but in practice found the modest combined oven on top of the worktop so handy that we think of buying one at home, and there is also an excellent Zanussi ceramic hob). The beds and sitting room furniture are more comfortable than our own. It was tempting to refrain from recommending this cottage so highly as we very much want to be able to return often, but at least we now have three more visits booked!

Garden Cottage is a unique holiday property in Linlithgow, which is very well furnished and equipped, and with a high standard of cleanliness. Welcome packs were much appreciated. It was delight to stay there and Linlithgow is a great central point with good road access to all the surrounding areas. A pretty little town having good amenities and with its own Loch just off the High St - perfect for an evening walk. We would highly recommend it.Read less
