Garden cottage in Linlithgow is ideal location as it’s 10 mins from railway station where the trains run regularly to Edinburgh and Glasgow. There are lovely walks around the area too.

We had a nice stay at Garden Cottage. It was incredibly clean, but we were massively put off by the lack of a proper oven and the very old fashioned TV. The Microwave oven wasn’t ideal for us, and although not the end of the world, an updated smart tv would look great in the house as some of it is very up to date. Linlithgow was lovely and quick to get to the train station.

The hosts are very welcoming. The cottage is cosy and perfect for visiting Edinburgh or Glasgow by train.

Garden cottage is located on the edge of Linlithgow so an easy walk into town, visiting the Palace grounds, canal walk, and railway station. It was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. We would certainly stay in Garden cottage again.

Very comfortable cottage with everything you could need though we would probably find the steps up a bit tricky in a few years' time. Perfect location within 15 minutes' walk of the station and then an easy journey into Edinburgh or Glasgow, or to Falkirk for the Wheel and the Kelpies. Linlithgow itself is very interesting and has some great cafes - we hope to be back to try some of the others before too long!
