A fantastic, well equipped property in a picture perfect location. The cottage is ideally situated smack bang between Glasgow and Edinburgh and only a ten minute walk from Linlithgow railway station.

A very warm and friendly welcome awaited us. The cottage was immaculately clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable. All home comforts and more. Would definitely stay again if we are that end of the country.

The location was ideal for a base to venture out from. Clean comfortable and the cottage came with a wealth of local knowledge in the books that were available to use.

The property is very charming and the location could not be better for all sorts of activities. We visited Edinburgh, toured around Central Scotland and spent time in the town itself.

Had a wonderful time as always. We live on the Isle of Man and use the cottage to invite family and fiends for meals when we visit home. The gorgeous Spode china is always a great talking point. Very well equipped cottage.

A lovely well equipped cottage. Very close to restaurants, pubs, historic buildings and a pretty loch to walk around. Really enjoyed our week and will have to return as so much to see and do as was well located to explore the region by car and train.

Very comfortable and extremely well -equipped. The bedrooms were small- some people might find them cramped- but made up for by being very comfortable. Stunning view of Linlithgow Palace from kitchen made it extra special.

This is a lovely cottage – very comfortable and clean, high standards throughout. The owners were very helpful and welcoming and their extra touches such as the welcoming bottle of wine made it that even more special. The location is fantastic – views of the castle which is a short walk away, as is the town, lake and railway station. An ideal place to base yourself and visit places like Edinburgh, Stirling, Glasgow etc. without having to use the car. Really could not fault anything and we hope to visit again one day. A lovely little cottage – well designed, well appointed. Lots of little extras in the cottage made it even more special (the bottle of wine was very well received!). High standards maintained throughout in terms of furnishings and cleanliness. A lovely private garden. Welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts – really could not ask for more.
